Grind Stone explained how aggressively he goes on disavow:
If low authority or low traffic + KW = disavow
If low authority AND low traffic but no KW = disavow
If high authority but low traffic + KW = disavow
If low authority but high traffic + KW = open the link and analyze it:
— Is it spam?
— Is it UGC?
— Scraper site?
Authority – Traffic – Keyword Usage
Those combinations determine the path.
Because I care what Google thinks about a site, not Ahrefs or Majestic and their ‘authority’ score, says Grind Stone.
There’s thousands of DR70+ sites that Google sends very little to no quality traffic to.
Why would Google reward you for a link off a site it won’t reward in the first place?
And if it won’t reward you, we have to consider the potential that it’ll harm you.
Based on a ridiculous number of tests now.
