Nathan Gotch has anecdotal evidence suggesting that Google’s algorithms are capable of detecting SOME AI-generated SEO content produced by Large Language Models (LLMs).
He provides an example, as illustrated in the first screenshot.
Gotch and his team have been conducting experiments in which they replace AI-generated content with content written by humans across various industries and marketing campaigns.
So far, these tests have yielded a success rate of approximately 90% or higher in terms of ranking improvements.
The tests are single-variable in nature, focusing on pages that consist entirely of AI-generated content.
The only change implemented was the substitution of the AI content with material crafted by human writers.
He points to another instance, hinting that the timing of the replacement of AI content with human-written content is evident in the second screenshot.
